\nFriday, 9th \u00a0October 2015
\ntaking place at the restaurant EssKultur (www.ess-kultur.at), Marxergasse 14, 1030 Wien
\nStarting: 18.00 hrs
\nWhisky Tasting: commencing 19.00 hrs<\/p>\n
10 Single Malt Whiskies, bottled by C\u00c0RN M\u00d2R and our friends The maltman, Donald und Andrew Hart, will be nosed and tasted.
\nRanging from the very young to respectable age; starting in Speyside covering the Western Highlands, and Eastern Highlands and finishing on the Islands and Islay; encompassing Bourbon casks of all kind, a Sherry Puncheon ending with a Port Pipe; be it fruity, meaty or heavily peated; 6 single malt whiskies bottled at casks strength and 4 single malts with 46 % ABV; three single salt Whiskies distilled at the same distillery matured in a bourbon -, sherry \u2013 or port cask in direct comparison.
\nIn short \u2013 quite a lot of facettes of the Scottish single malt whisky will be displayed.<\/p>\n

\n2. BENRINNES 1996 @ 46 % – 18 years old ex 2 Bourbon Barrels, 423 bottles

\n4. ARRAN 1996 @ 52.6 % – December 1996\/March 2015, Sherry Puncheon # 2135, 560 bottles
\n5. ARRAN 1996 @ 49.6 % – November 1996\/February 2015, Port Pipe # 1636, 474 bottles
\n6. MORTLACH 1998 @ 50.8 %, October 1998\/June 2015, Bourbon Barrel # 11017, 288 bottles
\n7. BEN NEVIS 1995 @ 53.1 %, October 1995\/January 2015, Sherry Butt # 497, 544 bottles
\n8. FETTERCAIRN 1989 @ 47.7 %, May 1989\/August 2015, Refill Bourbon Hogshead # 1369, 242 bottles
\n9. CAOL ILA 1988 @ 57.0 %, December 1988\/August 2015, Bourbon Hogshead # 4213, 135 bottles
\n10. LEDAIG 2008 @ 46 % – 7 years old ex Refill Sherry Puncheon, 783 bottles<\/p>\n
Prior to the tasting food will be served starting at 18.00 hrs – potatoe soup with mushrooms, roasted duck accompanied by red cabbage and dumplings or a pumpkin strudel, poppy seed cake with cowberries.
\nThe Single Malt Whisky Tasting will start at 19.00 hrs.<\/p>\n
For C\u00e0rn M\u00f2r Society Members the fee for the tasting incl. food will be \u20ac 45,- p. p.<\/p>\n
