Dear lovers of Scotch single malt whisky!

A last tasting prior to the summer season – and a new independent bottler!
HUNTER LAING – impressive are his bottlings of rather unknown distilleries. The tasting ends with a full load of peat from Islay.

The „Single Malt Spring Tasting 2017“ takes place on Wednesday May 24th 2017 at the
s‘Baumgarten Linzer Straße 297, 1140 Vienna
(5 – 8 minutes walking distance from the subway station Hütteldorf U4, the tram 52 stops in front of the restaurant).
Starting: 18.00 hrs
Whisky Tasting starts: 19.00 hrs

Balmenach 2001 @ 50.0 % vol. Bourbon Hogshead
Braeval 2001 @ 50.0 % vol. Sherry Butt
Glencadam 1996 @ 52.0 % vol. Bourbon Hogshead
Glengoyne 1995 @ 55.9 % vol. Bourbon Barrel

Tormore 1988 @ 50.0 % vol. Fino Sherry Butt
Bruichladdich 2002 @ 54.9 % vol. Sherry Puncheon
Bowmore 1996 @ 50.0 % vol. Bourbon Hogshead
Laphroaig 2004 @ 50.0 % vol. Bourbon Hogshead

The Menu – all in a tumble:
– Mackerel with a mash of red beet and poached egg
– Braised bits of veal with Indian spices, vegetables and rice
– Cream strudel with milk of vanilla
A vegetarian dish is available on request.

For Càrn Mòr Society Members and their friends the contribution fee including the menu is € 48,- per person.
Please note – the minimum number of guests is 25. The maximum number of guests we can accommodate is 35. Please register in time at office@gillespiepartners.com.
