Over 500 years after Brother John Cor, a Lindores monk, was commissioned by King James IV to turn 8 bolls of malt into Aqua Vitae.
Bottled at the distillery with the unique limited edition strength of 49.4% ABV, having spent its maturation in ex-bourbon casks.

The region Lowlands The lowland is the area of Scotland North of the border with England stretching to a line drawn from Glasgow in the West to Dundee in the East. The border runs just a few miles South of Perth. Although quite a number of distilleries have been operating in the past only three remained – Auchentoshan, Glenkinchie and Bladnoch, the most southerly.
